You can get a cheap, instant, (sometimes even free!) website from lots of places. This is fine for some people. However, there are many 'gotchas' with those sites, and regardless of size, most organizations should avoid these from the start (because often one of the most common catches is that it's next to impossible to move your site elsewhere when you outgrow it.)

Just a few of the reasons you might need a custom website:

  • Ability to create unlimited content\
  • No 3rd-party branding or advertising
  • Custom or advanced features
  • Unique, non-cookiecutter look, feel, and performance
  • Access to professionally-created graphics or custom modifications after creation
  • Clean, optimized code and content - many 'drag & drop' website creators write terrible code that can poorly affect search ranking

BMK Media has over 10 years of web building experience. We are honest about our pricing and our return. We never over promise and work hand in hand with our clients to create a personalized experience and a professional website. We offer competitive pricing along with a 90 day support plan to each of our clients. Read more about our promise which sets us apart from the rest!

This is a VERY common question. The answer, however, is not always as easy. We can fully launch a wide array of sites within 2 weeks. However, developing an effective website takes ongoing involvement from the owner. No one knows your business better than you - so it is critical you are available and willing to provide input on industry-specific wording, imagery, and other things. Delays in back-and-forth response times can double or even triple the completion time of your project. We have developed a process and pre-development questionnaire that is designed to minimize delays and reduce the time demands required of the site owner.

We are a build-to-suit workshop, but we don't believe in reinventing the wheel for no reason (which would increase costs for our clients) so we definitely use and promote the content management system concept. However we do NOT recommend using WordPress, for these (and many other) reasons:

  1. We consider it to be poorly organized (and overly complex for many beginners)
  2. It is widely used, making you an instant  target for any high-publicity security flaws
  3. A WordPress site is often recognizable at a glance, so it is only "custom" to a certain point
  4. There are MUCH better, MUCH more flexible content management platforms to base your site on

Now your site is already in WordPress, we are definitely capable and competent in the management and operation of it, but don't be surprised if we convince you to switch with a quick demo of what you COULD be using instead!

We don't list fixed prices because we don't produce fixed websites. That does NOT mean we believe in the old saying 'if you have to ask, you can't afford it'. We prefer to believe that if you don't ask, you'll never know how impressive of a site you could have for a reasonable price! Our websites are dynamic, custom-tailored to your purpose, and infinitely growable. Call or email us today for a free quote.

SSL Certificates are small data files that digitally bind a cryptographic key to an organization’s details. When installed on a web server, it activates the padlock and the https protocol (over port 443) and allows secure connections from a web server to a browser. Historically, SSL is used to secure credit card transactions, data transfer and logins.

As of August 2014, Google has announced their "SSL Everywhere" initiative, which calls for all sites to run in full-time SSL mode - encrypting ALL communication between every site and each of it's visitors. Additionally, it can confirm the site you are at is what it claims to be, and encrypt additional things like contact form submissions.

Our design team is experienced in designing custom logos. You can see some of our featured samples on our logo page.

We can take your concept - a sketch on a napkin, a rough outline from a graphics program, or just a verbal description - and re-imagine it into a professional, high-resolution graphic suitable for use on business cards, websites, signage, business carts or any other medium.

The turnaround time for logos depends on the client and the complexity. Normally, with full cooperation and instruction from the client, we can turn around a selection of designs within 1 week.

BMK Media has designed business cards for a number of clients. Click here to view some of our sample designs. Click the Free Quote button at the top right of your screen, or give us a call at (954) 818-2010 we can get started asap!

Spot gloss allows you to put gloss coating on some parts of the cards while leaving other parts uncoated. For instance, you are able to apply glossy coating to a company logo, and leave the rest of the card in a matte finish. Spot gloss is defined per side of a card. It is a 1 bit (2 colors black and white) tiff file. Black pixels correspond to coated regions. You need to make the Spot gloss file fit our file specs.

Standard delivery times are within 5-9 business days, depending on the options you select. We can ship them right to your office for a small fee, or deliver them personally as our delivery schedule allows.

We also offer Ultra-Rush Options - Approve your design by 7:30pm EST today and get it delivered tomorrow!

We can design anything to meet your needs. Some ideas are: brochures, fliers, palm cards, slide show images, advertisements, etc.

There are many thoughts on this. Some people say shorter is better; this is evidenced by 1- and 2-letter domains selling for millions (if they are ever actually put up for sale). Obviously owning the exact spelling of your brand as a .com is the most common method, this is what a customer who knows who you are would type when trying to find you online. Alternatively, you can opt for a catchy, memorable domain that is easy to remember at a glance. You can also opt for a keyword-heavy domain to maximize SEO potential. Of course, there is no limit on how many domain names you can buy, so you could always use a combination of these approaches, too!

You have several options:

  1. Choose another domain name (or domain suffix)
  2. If the domain name you chose is for sale, consider buying it (or making an offer)
  3. If it is not for sale, consider making an unsolicited offer (but expect the demanded price to be sky-high!)
  4. If the domain in question is a registered trademark or other protected-use term, consult your legal counsel on your options for infringement resolution

Maybe! There are lots of reason to have multiple domain names:

  • Track offline marketing efforts from various places
  • Use keyword-heavy domains to boost search relevance
  • Prevent your competition from owning keyword-heavy domains
  • Shorter-to-type versions for use in email addresses or manual typing
  • Various mis-spellings of your primary domain to prevent others from taking your traffic
  • Multi-suffix variants of the same domain for brand protection (ie: example.com, example.net, example.org)
There are now more domain domain name suffixes (called Top-Level Domains or (TLDs) than ever - no longer are you restricted to .com, .net, ,.org! Check out the exhaustive list over at BMKMedia.net!
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine's "natural" or un-paid ("organic") search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, and industry-specific vertical search engines. As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms or keywords typed into search engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience. Optimizing a website may involve editing its content, HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. Promoting a site to increase the number of backlinks, or inbound links, is another SEO tactic.
The leading search engines, such as Google, Bing and Yahoo!, use crawlers to find pages for their algorithmic search results. Search engine crawlers may look at a number of different factors when crawling a site. Not every page is indexed by the search engines. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is about removing barriers to crawling engines and building content designed to lift your site's ranking for a given search term or terms.

Short Answer: No, and anyone who does is just taking your money.

Long Answer: Consider the question - the same question everyone asks their own SEO team. As the saying goes, "There can only be one". Rankings are always evolving, and in a broader sense slanted towards the searcher not the searchee. The criteria used for being 'first' is multi-faceted, and some of the requirements (mostly on highly competitive or very broad search terms) may not be feasible for your organization on certain keywords

. IT is a long, ever-evolving path to be first for a given term, and while no-one should guarantee particular results, we have proven great success with our methods and will be glad to work with you to implement them.

When you sign up to use our email marketing service, you enter into an agreement that says you have obtained any email addresses you send a message to legally, and that you have permission to send to that address. Additionally, you are required to include your contact information and an unsubscribe link. These steps keep your communications legal and your customers happy.

Our system requires you to agree to use a permission-based mailing list. Permission-based email refers to email messages sent to Contacts who requested them, in contrast to unsolicited email messages or spam. You can obtain specific permission to receive email directly from a Contact, or have an existing customer relationship that implies the customer wants to receive your email messages.

Many people, particularly email marketers, have varying definitions of what constitutes permission-based email in terms of direct or implied consent.

Express Email Marketing® requires that each recipient of a campaign agree to receive your communications either directly (by opting in to your contact list) or indirectly (by you indicating an ongoing relationship with the contact that the contact does not dispute).

Build your permission-based email list by creating and placing a sign-up form, called an Opt-In Magnet, on your website. Visitors to your site can then use the form to subscribe to your mailing list.

You have access to over 160 different pre-made templates, plus the ability to create a totally custom template from scratch - or have us create one that matches your site perfectly!
